Pink New Year

Last New Year I saw some pink rockets. I hope that this New Year's eve and celebration brings to me again beautiful pink rockets.

I look at those rockets from my window. I must admit that I am little afraid to go outside, because it's not safe. Cats and dogs are also afraid, so... It's not a shame;)

Happy Pink New Year, my friend!

Norwegian Cardigans

My Christmas was wonderful. Christmas has gone but winter is still here. We have a lot of snow here in Finland.

I love pink sweaters and cardigans

When I was a teenager I visited in Norway with my family. Norway is a very beautiful country. I also adore Norwegian cardigans and Norwegian style cardigans or sweaters.

I found beautiful pink Norwegian cardigans.

This Norwegian Sweaters Louise (photo above), stylish Norwegian cardigan for women, is one of my favorites. This pink Norwegian Cardigan is 100% pure new wool of genuine Norwegian origin.

This red Dale of Norway Solveig cardigan, which looks like a dark pink cardigan, is also beautiful. This Norwegian cardigan is 100% wool with hand wash and dry flat.

I also like this Dale of Norway Selfjord, pink Cardigan Sweater. Fabric is 100% cotton, machine wash, dry flat.

Those Dale of Norway cardigans are on Sale, which ends soon.

Do you like Norwegian style cardigans?

Merry Christmas

Here in Finland Christmas Eve is the most important day of the year. Our Christmas goes like this:

Christmas Eve, December 24: Santa Claus, gifts, Christmas food and delicacies, Christmas songs, family, television

Christmas Day, December 25: The birth of Jesus Christ. Some families go to the church, delicious food, family, home. Some people think it's boring. I love the peaceful atmosphere.

The second Christmas day, December 26, The day of Tapani (man's name): more Christmas food, sleigh ride in countryside, winter sports, dancing, party, visit to relatives, or something like that.

Pink thoughts and Merry Christmas, my friend!

Christmas and Chocolate

Christmas is my favorite celebration. At every Christmas chocolate is my favorite candy. Chocolate truffles, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, assorted chocolates, chocolate with hazelnut and other nuts, fruits, berries and so on are waiting in my kitchen me and my husband and our Christmas.

About week ago we already started to eat chocolate. Every year we buy this Geisha Chocolate by Fazer in Finland. Geisha Chocolate is milk chocolate with soft hazelnut filling. We always eat Geisha chocolates before Christmas, because it's difficult to wait Christmas without any chocolate;) This pink chocolate heart, box of chocolates with pink candy paper, is also beautiful Christmas Chocolate.

I love Christmas and Chocolate. The most important thing in my Christmas is a joint celebration with my beloved. But without chocolate Christmas does not taste so delicious. Christmas and Chocolate belongs together. They are my faithful friends but not even nearly as important than my husband and my friends:)

Do you eat chocolate at Christmas, my friend?

Letter to Santa Claus

Many people believe that the real Santa Claus or Father Christmas lives in Finland. The hometown of The Santa Claus is Rovaniemi, at the Arctic Circle, Lapland, Finland. Santa lives together with Mrs Santa in real winter wonderland Korvatunturi (tunturi is mountain or fjeld).

Who gets the most letters in the world? Santa Claus of course! Santa Claus (Joulupukki in Finnish) receives thousands of mail-letters, cards and parcels. Letter to Santa Claus is very important thing to children and some adults too. So far, the elves have found 184 countries from which Santa Claus has received a total of nearly eight million items in the past 20 years. The most enthusiastic writers are Japanese, British and Polish.

Our Santa Claus gets visitors from all over the world. Many visitors come to Lapland from Japan, The United Kingdom, Russia and Germany.

I could write a letter to Santa Claus, but I don't need any Christmas gifts. Although Santa's philosophy is very pink. I have a lot of important issues to discuss with him. Maybe I'll write to him:)

Are you going to send a letter to Santa Claus? If you have some Christmas wishes to Santa, here is Santa's address: Joulupukki, Korvatunturi 98800 Savukoski, Finland or joulupukki@korvatunturi.fi
If you want to have a letter from Santa, visit here.

I still believe in Santa. Do you believe in Santa?

Pink evening gown

Today we have the Independence Day here in Finland. Office of the President of the Republic of Finland, President of the Republic Tarja Halonen and Dr Pentti Arajärvi (President's husband) will host the Independence Day Reception at the Presidential Palace today, 6 December 2009. Mrs President Tarja Halonen has invited the guests to celebrate in the Presidential Palace. The guests are politicians, diplomats, business influencers, celebrities and the Finns, who have done something significant during the year in their field.

The Independence Day reception has a dress code. An evening gown or formal dress means that a woman wears a full-length formal dress. This formal dress or evening gown has usually a wide-open top, and that usually leaves the arms bare. Your formal dress can also be a national costume.

Women often wear a evening gown by famous designers.

I found beautiful pink evening gowns, which would be near my choice if I got an invitation to the Independence Day reception. Though I would wear the unique pink evening gown made specially for me.

This Armani Collezioni Gathered Gown color guava with scoop neckline and wide shoulder straps is my first choice. The Armani gown is elegant and almost pink evening gown (also photo above).

I also love this pink prom dress, which you find on Derame Wedding. In the Presidential Palace there is a ball today. This pink evening gown would be a beautiful ball dress.

This rose or pink evening gown is also a prom dress. This pink evening gown is beaded satin with lace up back. This Faviana prom style dress you find on BestPromDresses.com

What would be your choice? Do you love pink evening gowns?

Best blog award

My lovely friend Sashindoubutsu gave me and my Pink Links an award. This Best blog award got a new pink dress here. I can't help it;) Awards which are not pink ask me to use some pink magic. My name is Taika (Magic), so... Don't be angry for me if pink magic here is in power;)

Sashindoubutsu and her blog Snapping Panda are my favorites. In this way "Panda" explained why she gave the award to Taika and Pink Links: "A woman prettier than pink, who wishes I could speak Finnish so that we can talk better. (Taika, I thank God you speak good English. Believe me we will always understand each other. Your friendship is a treasure.)"

How beautifully she gave me this award! I cried happy pink tears.

As the rule goes, the recipient should pass the award to 15 others who deserve it. This time I pass this Best blog award to all of you who discuss here with me. I love to discuss with you and I learn more and more English here, because you teach me. I have also always loved different countries and cultures. You all are very interesting persons too.

So... I hope that I can discuss with you always and forever:):)
