This weekend we have many Little Christmas parties here in Finland. I am going to start decorate my home for the holidays. I don't take away the Christmas decorations until after the New Year. I don't have many pink Christmas decorations, because all shops here ( I live in a little town) are full of red, green, white and golden decorations. But I'll do some shopping soon and buy something, which makes my Christmas more pink.
Though I don't need so much pink stuff to make my Christmas pink. My Christmas is always pink with my loving husband.

Somehow it's sad when they cut trees. I accept it if a forest is so full of trees that it's reasonable to cut that forest can be healthy. Also I think that we should use our Christmas trees to do something useful with it after Christmas. These are difficult issues. We eat almost everything which is in nature. We also use trees even if they don't want it. We can't protect everything... But in my Pink world everything is possible without any sad things:)
If you have a living one (for example in your Garden) it's a great choice.

Pinkki korttisi sopii oikein mainiosti joulukortiksi.
Meillä oli aikoinaan pieni vihreä tekokuusi. Tällä hetkellä meidän kotiimme ei mahdu oikeaa isoa kuusta. Lapsuuden kodissani oli aina oikea kuusi.
En tiennyt, että mäntykin voisi olla joulukuusi, mutta kieltämättä se on kyllä hyvä idea sellaiselle, joka on kuuselle allerginen.
On kiva valmistautua jouluun:)

You told that you usually cut down out own every year. In Finland, those who live in the countryside, also cut down out their own. When I was a child we got our Christmas tree same way like you. That is very traditional or old way to celebrate Christmas. You brought me my lovely childhood memories:)

i love natural trees! we have one in my garden and we normally cut a big branch and decorate it. i'll be using many pink baubles and decorations ;)
