Arabia is a Finnish ceramics company owned by the Iittala Group. Arabia has specialized in kitchenware and tableware, china and sanitary porcelain. Products of Arabia are highly appreciated modern Finnish design. Their older production has become highly collectible and valued in Finland.
I especially love pink Moomin products. The first products with Moomin figures at Arabia, a set of children's dishes and a serie of miniature figures, came out at the end of 1950's. The "Moomin boom" strated by the second launch of the moomin products in 1990.
All Arabia Moomin pictures are based on Tove Jansson’s illustrations. Since the beginning of the 1990´s, the pictures have been adapted to ceramics by Slotte-Elevant and in some cases by Camilla Moberg.
I love pink mugs, cups and bowls.
My favourite pink mug is ”Love” (decoration by Camilla Moberg and shape by Kaj Franck)
I also like this pink ”Love” bowl (decoration by Tove Slotte-Elevant and shape by Kaj Franck)

Oh the pink "love" one is also my favourite. I have 10 Moomin mugs already. I live in Italy and here you can find some Arabia and Iittala designs and I'm always so proud to be Finnish when I see them in the shops!
